it's a full moon! she exclaimed. each and every month, without fail. i knew something was up.

and then she immediately thought of the childhood rhyme from one of her very favorite chapter books.

i see the moon

the moon sees me

the moon sees the one i long to see

so god bless the moon

and god bless me

and god bless the one i long to see

surely, every full moon she gazed at that bright, glowing sphere, singing to herself, and blessing the ones she wished were closer.
